Mobor Beach

The beautiful Mobor Peninsula is formed by The Sal River as it cuts a board swathe when it nears the Arabian Sea. This was just a barren stretch of sand till 1980s, with one village, a few fishermen's hut and long stretches of sand used for drying fish. But everything changed here when Leela Hotel and other five star hotels moved in and colonized the entire unfold. Mobor today is studded with a series of Luxury resorts on both river side and sea side. But the mouth of Sal River is one of those few places where Mobor sandbank ends and beautiful Betul hillock rises on the opposite bank.
