Ramanathaswamy Temple: Rameshwaram Beach is well known for its world famous Ramanathaswamy Temple. This beautiful and ancient temple is near the beach on the eastern side. This temple is spread over 151 acres. This temple was built in the 17th century and is a magnificent example of Dravidian art. Temple is famous for its 1200 gigantic granite columns, 54 meter tall gate-tower (Gopuram) and 1220 meters of magnificent corridors which attracts every tourist.

Agnitheertham: This is an important place for Hindu which is just 100 meters away from Ramanathaswamy temple. It is believed that this is the place where Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva, and asked forgiveness for killing Ravana.
