Dakha Mahadeva Temple
The temple is located in the South Kankhal town and the mythological story about this place goes Daksha Prajapati performed a yajna here. His daughter, Sati, was married to Lord Shiva. Sati came on her own accord though she was not invited. She burnt herself after being ill treated. Shiva immediately chopped of Daksh's head and later a temple was built to pay tribute to Daksha Mahadeva Temple.

Sapt Rishi Ashram
The Ashram is one of the most important religious places where Ganga bifurcates into seven currents. It is said that one bathing at these five prominent places is ensured for Nirvana or purification.
