It
is very difficult to capture the beauty of Munnar in photographs, nor is it
possible to describe the beauty of Munnar through words; no matter how
expert we are in the art of photography or writing. Even with our advanced
level of skill we will fail to describe the exact beauty of Munnar. In order
to appreciate the beauty of Munnar one has to see Munnar through his/her own
eyes.
Situated on the confluence of three mountain streams viz Mudrapuzha,
Nallathanni and Kundala, Munnar is a beautiful hill station that has rich
collection of lakes, reservoirs, forests and tea estates. Anamudi, the
highest peak in south India is close to this place. There is a wildlife
sanctuary in the Eravikulam-Rajamala area in the Munnar forest division.
