hill station is the incredible holiday destination located in Uttranchal in
North India. Mussoorie is located at a height of 2,500 meters. Due to its

Gun Hill - Gun Hill is the second highest peak of
Mussoorie and is connected from the Mall through the ropeway as well as
bridles path. The Ropeway distance is only 400 mtrs. Gun Hill offers a
beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges and a bird's eye view of
Mussoorie town and Doon Valley.
Kempty Falls - Kempty Falls is located 15 kms away from
Mussoorie. This place is the biggest and prettiest tourist attraction with
water cascading down from an altitude of 4,500 feet and splitting further
into five different water streams. Taking bath at the foot of the falls is a
unique experience.
The Mall - This is the only and famous Mall or the
shopping center in Mussoorie which includes a row of shops where one can
find and purchase lots of things as per his choice. Here one can find
ceramic ware, Thangkas, carved walking sticks and the Ladhaki shawls.
Camel Back Road - Camel Back Road starts from Kulri
Bazar near Rink Hall and ends at Library Bazar. This ride covers a total
distance of 3 kms.

Lake - Mussoorie lake is becoming a newly developed picnic spot in
Mussoorie. This place is about 6 kms far from Mussoorie. Here Pedal boats
are available for boating.
Clouds End - In 1838 by a British Major this bungalow
was built. Now this bungalow has been converted into a hotel which is called
Clouds End. This place is situated at the extreme west of Mussoorie Hill, 8
kms from Library. Surrounding of this resort is very beautiful and it offers
a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Municipal Garden - Municipal Garden is a picnic spot in
Mussoorie. This is a beautiful garden which has an artificial mini lake with
boating facilities. Distance of this garden from the Mall is 4kms.
Childer's Lodge
- Childer's Lodge is situated on the highest Peak of Mussoorie near Lal
Tibba. This place is only 5 kms away from the Tourist Office. To reach this
place one can go on horse back or on foot. Snow view from this spot is
exhilarating.
Nag Devta Temple - Nag Devta Temple is an ancient temple
situated on Cart Mackenjie Road and is about 6 kms away from Mussoorie.
Vehicles can go easily right up to the spot.
Jwalaji Temple - Jwalaji Temple is 9 kms away to the
west of Mussoorie and at an altitude of 2104 m. Jwalaji Temple is situated
on the top of the Benog Hill. This temple is dedicated to Mata Durga and
surrounded by thick forests and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan
peaks and Yamuna valley.

Saharanpur. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant in Dehradun is only 60 kms
away from Mussoorie. Mussoorie does not have a direct rail link. Dehradun
Railway station serves for Mussoorie too which is linked with Superfast
trains to other major cities in country.
