Day 01 » Arrive Delhi
You are given a warm traditional welcome as you arrive at IGI Airport
Delhi. Our travel manager takes you to the hotel and assists you while you
check in at the hotel. After refreshing and relaxing for a while, we head to
visit National Museum. It has a finest collection of Indian antiquities and
artifacts. A lavish welcome dinner is hosted in evening. Overnight stay at
night.
Day 02 » Delhi

After relishing the breakfast, we leave for visiting Old and New Delhi. Jama
Masjid and by lanes of Chandni Chawk are the major highlights of Old Delhi.
India Gate, Raj Ghat, Qutab Minar, Baha'i Temple and Akshar Dham Temple are
situated in the other parts of the capital city. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 03 » Delhi - Khajuraho
The day starts with early morning rail travel to Jhansi. En route visit to
medieval town of Orchha is included in our journey to Khajuraho. Orchha is
studded with medieval Bundelkhand buildings representing a fine balance of
Mughal and Rajput architecture. We visit world-famous Khajuraho temples in
afternoon. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 04 » Khajuraho - Agra
As we savor the lip smacking breakfast, we start for Agra by train.
Arrival, check-in and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 » Agra
Get up, wash and breakfast is served before we head to visit the
world-famous city of Agra. We visit Sikandara and the Tomb of
Itmad-Ud-Daulah in the first half of the day. Splendid Agra Fort and the
magnificent Taj are visited in the later half. All of these Mughal
architectural wonders are rated among the most popular tourist attractions
of this country. Stay overnight at the hotel at the end of this memorable
day.
Day 06 » Agra - Jaipur
Our day starts with early morning drive to Jaipur, en route visiting
Fatehpur Sikri, dream capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. Arrival, check-in and
overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 » Jaipur
We visit Amber Fort in the morning. An elephant ride up to the entrance of
this fort is very popular among the tourists. Palace of Mirrors, Hall of
Public Audience and beautiful lush gardens are other attractions here. We
also visit Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the museum in the
evening. Overnight stay at night.
Day 08 » Jaipur - Jodhpur
We head to Jodhpur after savoring the breakfast. Located at the edge of
Thar Desert, medieval city of Jodhpur was once the capital of Marwar state.
Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459, Jodhpur emerged as a major tourist attraction
recently. Dating back to 15th century, Mehragarh Fort is perched on the top
of a rocky hill. A 10 km long wall with 8 gates and numerous bastions
encircles the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 » Jodhpur

We leave for full day visit to magnificent Mehrangarh Fort-Museum, one of
the largest in India. The edifice represents the desert style of Rajput
architecture. We also visit the old town and walk through the market to get
the feel of the town. Then follows a short safari to immaculately kept
villages of Bishnoi tribe, known for their environment consciousness.
Surprisingly you will find deer roaming freely in these villages.
Day 10 » Jodhpur - Udaipur
We drive to Jodhpur en route visiting Ranakpur, the largest and most
beautifully preserved Jain temples in the country. We then visit Kumbhalgarh
Fort. Arrival in Udaipur late in afternoon. Relax and overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 11 » Udaipur
After taking the breakfast, we head to visit City Palace, largest in the
state. Ornate Jagdish temple and Saheliyon Ki Bari are next in our tour
plan. The tour ends with a lunch at Fateh Prakash Palace. A rejuvenating
boat ride on Lake Pichola is another attraction. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 12 » Udaipur - Aurangabad
We have the breakfast and then fly to Mumbai to board another connecting
flight for Aurangabad. Arrival at Aurangabad late in evening. Check-in and
overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 » Aurangabad
We travel to Ajanta Caves offering a rich collection of images depicting
palaces, royalty, culture and daily chores of ancient India. These 30 caves
are a much sought after destination among spiritual and architectural
enthusiasts. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 » Aurangabad - Mumbai
We take our breakfast and leave to explore world-famous Ellora Caves.
Dating back to fourth and fifth century, these caves represent Hinduism,
Buddhism and Jainism, three major faiths of India. We fly to Mumbai later in
evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15 » Mumbai - Madurai
The day starts with our flight to Madurai. Arrival and check-in at the
hotel. We then visit Sri Meenakshi Temple. This sublime piece of Dravidian
architecture is placed amidst the heart of the town. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16 » Madurai - Chettinad - Madurai

As
we relish our breakfast, we leave to visit Chettinad, known for its artistic
houses. After savoring the architectural excellence of this town throughout
the day, we stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 17 » Madurai -Tanjore - Trichy
Early in the morning, we drive to Tanjore, also known as a city of temples.
Studded with 74 masterly carved temples including Brihadeshwara temple,
Tanjore is not less than a paradise for architectural enthusiasts. We visit
Thanjavur Palace before resuming our drive to Trichy. Abundant with numerous
magnificent edifices, Trichy is next in our tour plan. We also explore the
city including ornate Rock Fort Temple.
Day 18 » Trichy - Chennai
We travel to Chennai by train after taking our breakfast. This capital city
of Tamil Nadu has numerous age-old temples, exotic breaches and a marvelous
tradition of dance and music. We leave for a brief city sightseeing tour
soon after arrival in the city. Check-in and overnight at a beach resort.
Day 19 » Chennai
We have our breakfast and then leave to visit Kanchipuram and
Mahabalipuram, two of the finest examples of ancient South Indian
architecture. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20 » Chennai - Delhi
We cool off throughout the day. A farewell dinner is hosted for you in the
evening before being escorted to the domestic terminal for flight to Delhi.
We end the tour here and fly back home.
