Day 1 » Arrive in Delhi :
India's epicentre of power, Delhi is one of the most frequented travel
destinations in India. The city is known for its great historical visibility
and for its pace to catch up with the latest global trends. India Guided
Tour welcomes you to this amazing city. Our travel managers receive you at
the Delhi IGI Airport and accompany you to the pre-booked hotel. Be ready
for a traditional Indian welcome. You have the rest of the day to relax.
Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2 » Sightseeing in Old & New Delhi :

The
day begins with a wonderful sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Enjoy a
trip back in time as the travel manager takes you out to watch some of the
most world-renowned historical and religious places in the city. Spend some
time at the Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, built by Mughal emperor Shah
Jehan. Post lunch, get to visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, Bahai Temple, Qutub
Minar and India Gate. Also visit the Crafts Museum that quite well
replicates the scene on an Indian street. Get back to hotel in the evening
and rest for the night.
Day 3 » Delhi
Samode - Jaipur :
Next on the itinerary list is the city of Jaipur, coloured in ochre-pink.
Undertake a road journey to head towards this capital city of Rajasthan.
Visit the tiny village of Samode before you reach Jaipur. Experience the
rural life in the village, interact with locals and then resume your road
journey towards Jaipur. Built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II,
Jaipur has been designed on the lines of the Shilpa Shastra. The travel
assistant now takes you to your pre-arranged hotel, where you relax for the
rest of day. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 4 » Sightseeing in Jaipur :
Escape to the ancient mountain ranges of the Aravallis to feast your eyes
upon the Amber Fort. Remember, the fort features an excellent example of the
Rajput style of architecture. What can be more exciting than a clumsy
elephant ride to reach the top of the Amber Fort. Post lunch, the travel
assistant guides you towards the City Palace, featuring a mix of the Rajput
and the Mughal styles of architecture. Do you know how much protective the
Rajput kings were, of their queens? The delicate honey-combed windows of the
Hawa Mahala will tell you the story. The octagonal structure, not quite like
a palace, was erected to safegaurd royal women from prying eyes in the
streets. From the tiny windows, these ladies could easily witness the
activities in the streets without being seen by the public. Get back to
hotel and rest for the night.
Day 5 » Jaipur Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
:

Drive
to Bharatpur and be ready for a chirpy session of birdwatching at the
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, also famous as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park.
The sanctuary shelters over 300 species of both resident and migratory
birds. Next, continue the drive to arrive at Fatehpur Sikri, which was once
the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar, later deserted due to scarcity of
water supply. Visit the historical monuments at Fatehpur Sikri. Resume
journey and reach Agra. Get to the hotel for check in. Relax and rest for
the night.
Day 6 » Sightseeing
in Agra :
Getting to the medieval city of Agra is the dream of many. Begin your
sightseeing with a visit to the 'Baby Taj'. What people call 'Baby Taj' is
actually the tomb of emperor Jehangir's chief minister and father-in-law.
The name comes from the reason that the monument foreshadows the designs of
the Taj Mahal. Then, it's time to fix a gaze on a monument that has taken
the Mughals three generations to construct the Red Fort. Finally,
make your day as the travel manager takes you to the Taj Mahal, the
world-famous mausoleum built by Shah Jehan in the memory of his
ever-faithful and beloved wife Mumtaz Mehal. Explore the architecture, enjoy
the angular visions and return to hotel with ever-lasting images of this
wonderful building in your mind. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 7 » Agra - Delhi :
Get back to Delhi. But before we reach Delhi, there's yet another
attraction waiting your way Sikandara. Built in 1613, it is the tomb
of the greatest Mughal emperor Akbar. Spend some time viewing the site and
then resume your road journey to Delhi. On reaching the capital city, the
travel manager accompanies you to the pre-arranged hotel. Take the remaining
part of the day for some last minute shopping in the city. The travel
manager next takes you out for a Farewell Dinner at a typical Indian
restaurant. Rest for the night at the hotel.
Day 8 » Leave Delhi :
The tour comes to a happy ending as the travel assistant escorts you to the
airport for your onward journey.
